Next “Kanteletupa” Workshop March 21, 2020

During the spring season 2020 there will be an open kantele workshop called the Kanteletupa once a month at the Helsinki Central Library Oodi. No previous experience is needed. We will experiment with different playing techniques and make easy improvisations. Come and see different small kanteles and have fun playing along with others!

The workshop is organized by the Sibelius Academy Folk music department, University of the Arts Helsinki. The tutor is Arja Kastinen.

The workshops will happen in the Ryhmätila 3 (a group room in the 2nd floor, up to 15 people at a time). Due to the regulations of the booking system the room for the next workshop can be booked only after the previous is over, so follow the announcements!

The next workshop will happen on Saturday, the 21st of March from 14:30 p.m. to 16:30 p.m. Welcome!
