A Thought of a Seed

The final art exhibition of the project Siemenen ajatus (A Tought of a Seed) by artist Sirpa Ylhäinen and Arja is held at the art museum of Joensuu Oct 10 – Dec 29, 2013.

In 2010 cousins Sirpa and Arja started a three year project as a celebration for their 50th birthday. The project included four art exhibitions with improvised kantele music. The first art exhibition – Siemenvesi – was in Joensuu, at the Gallery Harha, October 2011; the second – Soturin sydän – at the Gallery Tyko in Nurmes on March-April 2012; the third – Maan lapset – was held at the Art Museum of Varkaus, January 11 -February 24, 2013. And the last – when we both became fifty – is going on at the Art Museum of Joensuu until the 29th of December, 2013.
